We set off again tomorrow on the North Wales Pilgrim’s Way. This will be the 5th year. What is it that impels us, draws us? We know that we cannot be assured of good weather, that the Way is long and at times strenuous. Yet here we are again 21st century Pilgrims bound for Bardsey like so many before us. The road is now familiar, favorite resting places await us, and bells wil ring out from ancient churches to welcome us. We will walk on carpets of flowers, pinks and yellows and blues. Puff balls of white clouds set in blue skies, and we will wonder at the kaleidoscope of colours. And so tomorrow once again will see us set off to walk alongside one another, to share in the wonder of God’s creation and to simply be at one.
